After more than a decade managing complex healthcare construction projects, I founded Chelsea Grillo - Build Advisor to help clients approach construction with clarity, confidence, and a trusted advocate by their side.
Throughout my career, I have managed projects ranging from $1 million to $10 million in value, including surgical centers, rehabilitation facilities, urgent care centers, and other highly sensitive occupied healthcare environments. My experience spans both new construction and complex phased renovations where coordination, communication, cleanliness, and attention to detail are critical to success.
Working in healthcare construction taught me that successful projects are not just about building—they are about planning, organization, problem solving, and protecting the client’s best interests every step of the way.
Today, I bring that same level of professionalism and strategic oversight to residential and commercial clients seeking expert guidance throughout the construction process.
Whether assisting during the early planning and design phase, helping clients navigate contractor selection and bidding, reviewing project budgets and schedules, or serving as an owner-side advisor during construction, my goal is simple: to help clients make informed decisions and avoid costly mistakes.
My approach combines technical construction expertise with clear communication and a highly personalized client experience. I understand that construction projects are significant financial and emotional investments, and I believe clients deserve transparency, organization, and an advocate they can trust.
I earned a Master of Science in Construction Administration from Columbia University in the City of New York and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Emerson College. I also hold an OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
